The word Suzani comes from the Persian word for “needle.” It refers specifically to the exquisite silk thread embroidery panels made by women of Central Asia in the area now known as Uzbekistan along the Silk Roads which interconnected the cultures of Europe, Turkey and China with the Muslim world.

Each piece is hand-embroidered by the finest of artisans in Turkey so that no two items are ever exactly the same.
